Karl Kanduch has been logging since he was a young boy and enjoyed going to work with his dad at a young age.  When he was in high school, Karl started operating a skidder full time during the summer for Kanduch Logging.  He started learning to operate other machines one at a time.  After high school, he attended college at Montana Tech for a few years, but ended up going back to work for Kanduch Logging. During a spring break-up season one year,  Karl worked at Sun Mountain Lumber for two and half months.  After that adventure, he worked full time for Kanduch Logging, until he became a part owner of KLM.  

Karl is currently the president of the Montana Logging Association and is an ALP (Accredited Logging Profession). He also has participated in an emerging leaders program and continually goes to yearly educational classes to further his knowledge.  His years of experience and dedication to further his education as a logger, has helped him gain knowledge of the profession along with having a strong work ethic.
