Through our combined departments and expertise, projects are streamlined from planning to final product. From timber evaluation, to finished foundation, KLM Contracting streamlines the groundwork for many forestry, land management and construction projects. Our work includes government agencies, personal residences, ranches, commercial properties, trusts, and privately owned forests. 

 

 

Some projects are production driven, such as agency timber sales, and some projects are more geared towards silviculture and restoration/salvage where ancillary funds need to be acquired to pay for the project. KLM also completed numerous grant projects and other kinds of cost share programs.

​KLM Contracting has never been cited for not following a BMP (Best Management Practice) or SMZ (Streamside Management zone) Law. Further, KLM Contracting has acquired dozens of AP (Alternative Practice) permits that have allowed for creative solutions that minimized the impact on sensitive areas such as streams, lakes, and riparian areas.

KLM Contracting works hard to ensure that project timelines and deadlines are met. KLM has never needed an extension on an agency contract. While schedules are open to change because of the dynamic nature of the timber industry, deadlines will always be met. This can be assured because of the broad capability of the company. With 3 mechanical loggings sides, and 70+ pieces of equipment and trucks, we can ramp up or down depending on what is needed.
